Adrenal Glands

To support the adrenal glands apply 1-2 drops of  JuvaFlex directly over the adrenal glands, located on top of the kidneys. 

Or add the following amounts of esential oils to ¼ tsp of massage oil and apply as a warm compress over the adrenal glands:  3 drops of Clove, 3 drops of Nutmeg, 7 drops of Rosemary.


Mental Clarity, Alertness, Concentration
Diffuse, directly inhale, or add 2-4 drops of Clarity or Brain Power to bath water.  Or Apply 1-2 drops of either essential oil blend on edge of ears, wrists, neck, forehead, temples or foot VitaFlex points (brain=big toe).

Recipe: 5 drops basil, 10 drops rosemary, 2 drops peppermint, 4 drops helichrysum.  Inhale 2-6 times daily, as needed.  Or dilute this receipe with 20 drops of V-6, Jojoba oil or extra virgin olive oil  and apply 2-3 drops on temples, forehead, mastoids (bone behind ears) and or brain stem (back or neck) as needed.


SLEEP
When the quanlity of your sleep deteriorates and the quantity diminishes, chronic fatigue, lowered immune function, and lack of sleep can ensue. 

To help you relax before sleep, try the following:

Rub Peace & Calming or Dream Catcher across the shoulders along with a little lavender or Roman Chamomile if needed.

Put 1 drop of Harmony on energy meridians to help balance the energy flow in the body.  (1 dp on stomach, navel, thymus, throat, forehead, and crown of head.)

Appy 2-3 drops valerian to the brain VitaFlex points on foot.

[Small children do well with lavender on bottom of feet or on belly.  For infants put 2-3 drops on the palm of your hand and gently rub your hands together, then rub infant's feet and/or belly.]


Hiccups

Hiccups are usually caused by irritated nerves of the diaphragm, possibly caused from a full stomach or indigestion. 
One technique for stopping hiccups that often works, when others fail, is to stimulate the VitaFlex point for hiccups:

Place 1 drop cypress and 1 drop tarragon on the end of the index finger; then place that finger against the esophogus in the clavicle notch in the center, and curl inward and down, like you're curling down inside the throat, and release.

[Please note:  Tarragon or cypress either topically applied or taken as dietary supplement may relax intestinal spasms, nervous digestion, and hiccups.]


Corns, Calluses, Bunions

To sooth or prevent, rub lemon oil on the affected area morning and evening.
