Most doctors will tell you that your immune system is your coat of armor protecting you from many diseases and infections. If this were not true the human race would have become extinct a long time ago. Therefore, if the immune system is working properly you would not suffer very long from cold, flu, herpes, chicken pox, Epstein-Barr, genital warts, and hundreds of others diseases, some very deadly, a strong immune system will recover from this pathogen invasion, and most of the time you will not be aware of the battle that took place within your body.
However, if your immune system is not functioning at its peak of efficacy, you may very well be sick for an extended period of time. You know you have caught something because most diseases cause symptoms that are recognizable. After consultation with a doctor, he will usually be able to tell you which disease you have and describe the symptoms caused by that disease.
What most people do not realize is the fact that the disease, itself, is the symptom: it is the symptom that your immune system has malfunctioned. Had your immune system been in peak condition you would not be sick very long. Your coat of armor would have prevented the disease from getting a strong hold in your body and you would not have experienced the symptoms of the disease.
Our body has a phenomenal ability to heal itself perfectly from any disease. However, once the immune system is over-burdened with some type of pathogen, (virus, fungi, yeast, bacteria, parasites) it’s too busy trying to rid the body of these bad guys that it is too exhausted to focus on the disease. The disease then takes a foot-hold and sometimes it takes months and even years to manifest itself. In the meantime the pathogens are in your body draining strength from the immune system. [Parasitic Infection is the #1 Global Killer.
There are 1,000 species of parasites that can live in our bodies. Doctors can identify and test for only5%!]
ESSENTIAL OILS VS DRUGS
Today viruses and bacteria are beginning to mutate in response to conventional drugs because the molecular structure of drugs is very simple. While a drug may be comprised of 1-2 compounds, essentials oils may have as many as 400-800 compounds. The very complex chemistry of essential oils makes them ideal for killing and preventing the spread of bacteria, since microorganisms have a difficult time mutating in the presence of so many different antiseptic compounds. Also, bacteria will never become resistant to essential oils, because the oils are harvested in different environmental conditions. So each year the same oil will have so many different compounds from one harvested a year ago.
Drugs accumulate in the body and have the potential of creating future health problems. Essential oils, on the other hand, are volatile. That is, they flash off or evaporate easily. That’s why they cannot accumulate in the body, like drugs do. The constituents of oils do show up in the blood, however, within a few minutes of application all trace of them is gone in 2 1/2 hours. At the same time, it is important to note that the beneficial effect of an essential oil can last up to 5 months. That’s how powerful they are.
Furthermore, while a drug kills the bad guys in our bodies, it will at the same time obliterate the good guys, our beneficial bacteria.
Additionally, essential oils, according to researchers at the University of Vienna, stimulate blood flow, which increases oxygen and nutrient delivery. They are the life force of the plant. They are the blood of the plant. They are the defense system of the plant. So when we inhale an essential oil, apply an essential oil, ingest an essential oil, we are revitalizing our own defense system.
