In
their Journal of Ethnopharmacology article, Ribeiro and Fiuza stated that they
had studied 32 different medicinal plants and confirmed that Olive Leaf reduced
high blood pressure. Another study from the Pharmacology Department at the University
of Granada in Spain
confirmed that Olive Leaf helped to lower blood pressure. A Belgian research
team tested 30 people with high blood pressure. At the end of only three months
they stated, "We note for all patients a statistically significant
decrease of blood pressure."
